I am fascinated by the imprint of time on the 10 volumes of Flora Graeca, made inadvertently over 200+ years, by the ink of the Flora Graeca engravings, as they slowly stain the facing pages of the closed volumes. I select images from the ghost-like stains to transpose into lithograph prints, wondering if any of these plants, over time, will, in fact, become ghosts—endangered and disappearing.
