Copper
Below the Branches, a Maine Percent for Art commission for the Waldo Justice Center
Below the Branches is an acid cut Copper relief sculpture consisting of four horizontal 15” x 49” panels of vintage copper from the Maine State House Dome, removed in reroofing and made available to artists. The sculpture creates a protective canopy-like umbrella of branches above the seating area on the first floor of the Waldo Justice Center, Belfast, Maine.
